Pitts Criticizes President’s Rejection of Pipeline
This afternoon President Obama publicly rejected TransCanada’s application to build the Keystone XL pipeline. The pipeline would have been a vital new link to bring oil to United States’ refineries. While the President has invited TransCanada to submit a new application, this could mean years more waiting before construction begins.
